The MC33035DWR2G device is a high-performance second-generation monolithic brushless DC motor controller with all the active functions required to implement a fully functional open-loop three-phase or four-phase motor control system.

The MC33035DWR2G device includes a frequency programmable sawtooth oscillator, a rotor position decoder for proper commutation sequencing, a temperature compensated reference capable of supplying sensor power, three open collector top drivers and three ideal for driving power MOSFETs of large MOSFETs. Current totem pole bottom drive.

The MC33035DWR2G device also includes protection features including undervoltage lockout, internal thermal shutdown, a unique fault output that can be connected to a microprocessor control system, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and an optional time-delayed latch shutdown mode. There are also typical motor control functions including open loop speed, forward or reverse, run enable and dynamic braking.
